The cup, from the El Hierro collection, is made by hand with the lathe in materic black stoneware and fired at high temperature (1260 ° C): that makes the pieces non-porous, strong and durable for regular use. Enameled with semi-opaque water-effect enamel only on the inside and left unglazed on the outside.
The chromatic effect of the internal enamel varies from turquoise to cobalt blue on the outside it is smooth on the edge but remains very rough to the touch.
